Yes. ID verification is required for all rentals. After placing your deposit, you’ll receive an email with the verification steps. Your rental is not fully approved until verification is completed and reviewed.

After your ID verification is approved, you’ll receive instructions to pay the remaining rental balance prior to pickup.

For higher-value gear, TGX may place a refundable card hold as a security hold during the rental period. This is not the same as a normal charge, but it does temporarily reserve funds on your card. The hold is released after the gear is returned and inspected.

Returned gear is inspected after drop-off. If something is missing, damaged, lost, or returned late, additional charges may apply based on the issue and the rental terms.

Cancellations made at least 48 hours before pickup may be refunded or rescheduled. Cancellations within 48 hours of pickup may be issued as TGX rental credit since the gear has already been reserved.

If TGX is unable to approve your rental after ID verification, your deposit will be refunded.
